Racing simulators give seniors a safe, thrilling way to experience the adrenaline of driving — without giving up independence, safety, or dignity. From retirement community events to post-stroke recovery, this is how seniors stay sharp, engaged, and smiling.
Whether you're planning an unforgettable event, running a facility, working in rehab, or making your parent or grandparent's year — we have a program that fits.
Turn activity day into the highlight of the month. We bring the simulators to your community for one-time events, quarterly showcases, or recurring themed nights. Residents will talk about it for weeks.
Ongoing wellness programs for assisted living, memory care, and rehabilitation centers. Weekly or biweekly visits that give residents something genuinely exciting to look forward to.
Milestone birthdays, bucket-list experiences, or a Sunday afternoon you'll never forget. Bring dad, grandma, or a parent to our Tampa lounge — or we'll bring it to you.
Research consistently shows driving simulator activity benefits older adults across cognitive, physical, and social dimensions. Unlike a crossword or a walk, it exercises all three at the same time.
Driving is one of the most cognitively demanding tasks a person does. It engages attention, memory, decision-making, and spatial awareness — simultaneously.
Simulator driving involves hand-eye coordination, pedal use, and controlled upper-body movement — gentle, repeatable motor practice without physical risk.
Group sessions create friendly competition, shared stories, and genuine fun. For seniors who've given up driving, the experience can be deeply emotional.
For stroke survivors and those recovering from neurological events, returning to driving is one of the biggest markers of regained independence. Simulators make that path safer, measurable, and more likely to succeed.

We're not making these claims up — they're rooted in decades of clinical research. A few of the studies behind what we do:
Casutt, Theill, Martin, Keller & Jäncke — a controlled study showing that interactive, multi-task simulator training improves higher-order cognitive functions and everyday life abilities in older adults. Published in Frontiers in Aging Neuroscience.
Read the studyAkinwuntan et al. — 83 stroke patients randomized to simulator training or cognitive therapy. 73% of the simulator group passed their official pre-driving assessment compared with 42% in the control group. Published in Neurology.
Read the studyKobayashi et al. — demonstrated that repeat simulator training significantly improved braking ability and driving readiness in stroke patients, enhancing rehabilitation and social reintegration outcomes.
Read the studyHüttermann, Bock, Memmert — found measurable improvements in divided visual attention in healthy older participants after four weeks of simulator training. Published in the Journal of Aging Research.

Yes. Because everything happens in a simulator, there's no risk of collision, falls, or physical harm. We can adjust difficulty, speed, and traffic density for each participant. Sessions are always one-on-one with trained staff. For those with medical conditions, we recommend clearance from their physician first — and we're happy to coordinate with your clinical team.
Some individuals experience mild disorientation during first-time use, similar to mild motion sickness. We start with slow, calm scenarios, keep initial sessions short (15–20 minutes), and monitor comfort closely. Most participants adjust quickly. Those with severe vestibular conditions may not be candidates — we'll discuss this during the initial consultation.
Yes. We're based in Tampa and routinely serve facilities across Tampa Bay and statewide Florida. Travel is factored into program pricing based on distance and frequency. For facilities beyond our standard service area, we're still happy to discuss options.
No — and it shouldn't. Our simulators are a tool that complements clinical rehabilitation, not a replacement for it. We partner with occupational therapists, driving rehabilitation specialists, and physicians who use simulator time as part of a supervised program. For return-to-driving evaluations, we recommend working with a Certified Driver Rehabilitation Specialist (CDRS).
It depends on whether you want an occasional visit, a weekly program, a group event, or a clinical partnership. One-time facility visits and recurring wellness programs are quoted separately. The best starting point is a free discovery call — tell us what you're trying to accomplish and we'll design a program that fits your budget.
For early-stage cognitive decline (MCI, mild dementia), many participants do very well and research supports benefits. For more advanced dementia, appropriateness varies by individual and we work with families and clinical staff to assess readiness. We never push someone who isn't comfortable — the goal is engagement and enjoyment, not performance.
Yes. Our simulators are set up for easy wheelchair-to-seat transfer with staff support, and we can accommodate participants with limited mobility. Just let us know about specific needs in advance so we can prepare.
Absolutely, and we encourage it. Family-inclusive sessions create shared experiences that are often more emotionally meaningful than solo sessions. Adult children who haven't seen their parent "drive" in years often find it incredibly moving.
Whether it's a birthday they'll never forget, a facility program that has residents actually looking forward to activity day, or a parent who just wants to feel young again — let's talk about making it happen.
